Laser Tattoo Removal

Laser treatments have been proven to be safe and effective in fading or removing unwanted tattoos. The Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser uses a specific wavelength of light (1064nm or 532nm) to deliver energy in short, sharp bursts which is absorbed by the pigment/ink in the tattoo. This process breaks up the ink in the tattoo into tiny particles which are then removed by the body’s immune/lymphatic system.

Improvement in the forms of fading ink may not be seen in the tattoo for up to 6-8 weeks after a treatment, and the tattoo can continue to fade for months after a treatment. Laser treatments can be repeated at a minimum of 6-8 week intervals.

Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser is effective for removal or lightening of mainly black, grey, red, yellow, pink, brown or orange inks.

IPL Photo Rejuvenation

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Photo Rejuvenation technology targets pigmentation and vascular imperfections while improving your skin’s overall appearance. Our IPL treatment is customised to each individual by addressing your skin type, skin concerns and the results you are wanting to achieve.

A complimentary consultation with our laser skin therapist is mandatory before commencing any IPL or laser treatments. Performing a test patch on your skin prior to full treatment is important to ensure your skin type is compatible for IPL Photo Rejuvenation treatments and to establish suitable setting parameters.

Q-Swtiched Laser for Hyperpigmentation

Laser and IPL (Intense Pulse Light) treatments have been proven to be safe and effective in fading or removing unwanted hyperpigmentation. Generally, IPL is the first choice of treatment for hyperpigmentation. However, for stubborn hyperpigmentation such as Melasma, a different wavelength of light may be required due to where the pigment is sitting in the skin. This is where the Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser comes in, as it uses a specific wavelength of 532nm or 1064nm. This laser treatment combined with the appropriate skincare regime can successfully fade and improve the appearance of Melasma and stubborn hyperpigmentation.
